Iain T. has been busy just being a 6 year old little boy. First grade is shaping up to be a fantastic year for him. He is loving his class, making lots of new friends and really excelling academically! It's a combination class, 1st and 2nd graders, which we think is great for him. He's really being pushed academically, which he absolutely loves, and he is thriving! Indian Guides is still in full swing also. A few weeks back they had a three day camping trip in the snow (cabins of course). They went sledding, hiking and just enjoyed the cold! The big wuss in me wants to know how they could enjoy 10 degree weather but I'll never tell him that!!
Seany, oh Seany! Our little character started baseball last week. It's called itty bitty teeball! Who can't love that!? I'm sure the games will be adorable! I'll post pics! He's still loving his preschool too. He's made some very good friends, a few of which will be going to the same kindergarten next year. Turns out, he's quite the social butterfly at school. Lots of friends and fun!
First day of practice
Sara is a little go-getter these days! She started walking and the next day took off running!! Nothing is safe from her curious little hands! Cupboards, purses, and anything else in her reach! She's hilarious and she knows it! Her vocabulary is really picking up, verbally and signing. She signs about 10 words on a regular basis, and can speak another 10 or so. Our favorite right now is "peeeez" for 'please'. It's so cute! She'll say it once, if she doesn't immediately get what she wants, she'll repeat 'peeeez" with increasing intensity! By the end it's more of a 'peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez'. Too funny!
Baby Torture!!
Well, that's my little update for now. I'd continue but Grey's Anatomy's on in 5 minutes! Priorities!!! :-)
