Diva party of 1

Yes, ladies and gentlemen...we have a little diva! Little Miss Sara has turned into quite a fashion connoisseur! She loves to accessorise, pick out her own shoes and get her hair done! Not to mention she LOVES to have her picture taken! I, of course, think this is all hilarious and very fun!!

Here's a few pictures of the Little Diva in action...

We dressed her in this outfit (yep, it's her 4th of July outfit). She went and found the hat and put it on backwards!
Cuttin' a rug! I asked her if I could take a picture...she instantly posed and put on her 'cheese' smile!
This is her latest fashion favorite, Iain T.'s baseball belt with everything! You can see the hat on the floor, it completes the look!
P.S. Sara still loves to play in the dirt, pick up and eat worms and zoom Hot Wheels around the house! As Iain says, she'll be the one riding the skateboard in the pink tiara!!!

A day at the Fair

This past week we took the kids to the County Fair. The theme this year was Hawaiian Luau, right up our alley! It was 5 hours of junk food, rides and fun for all of us! The boys went on several rides in 'kiddie land', then decided to venture off into the adult rides! Sean has never been big on rides that go faster than a Merry-go-Round so this was a big deal for him! He actually went on a water roller coaster, and enjoyed it! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get pictures. Since it is a water ride with lots of splashing, they put up a big wall to keep the crowd dry. They of course came off soaked and smiling from ear to ear!

Waiting in line for the Bumper Boats!
Bumper Boats, obviously not huge water ride!

Enjoying the kiddie rides!!
This is the first fast ride Sean has ever been on. It's the fastest ride of the kid ones. I have to admit it went pretty fast, first forward, then backwards! I love that he has his hands up in the air!

Sara was such a patient little sweetie! She stayed in the stroller the entire 5 hours! I know, it sounds like some form of baby torture and I'm sure it may be but it worked out! There was so much activity going on around her that I think she was entertained plenty by just looking around! The boys even played games and each won her a teddy bear!!! Now isn't that cute!?! I'm sure the bowl of ice cream didn't hurt either! She started to fade as the evening was coming to a close but she did a phenomenal job! What a trooper!!

Fading cutie!

Our Little Angel

A few days ago, I posted about our Little Dodger. Now it's time to post about our Little Angel! Yesterday, Iain played in his first baseball game. When I say first game, I really mean it. This is his first season of baseball, so yesterday was the first time he has ever been on the field in a game! He was feeling nervous about the whole thing, normal first time jitters. Funny how such a thing can affect a mom though! I was sitting in my chair, sweaty hands and "butterflies" in my stomach. Iain can be so hard on himself at times, I truly just wanted him to have a good experience! He did, he did! His first time up to bat, he hit the ball really well and made it safely to first base! This is where I should tell you that I cried! I know I'm a sap but moments like these are the ones I live for!! The joys of being a mom!!

Iain had a great time! He loved it and is already looking forward to his next game!

Right before the game. Laying on the couch, acting calm, cool and collected!
Playing first base.

I went to take a picture of Iain and Sara ran over to jump in with a big cheese smile. She's such a ham!!!

The Bad News Bears, only cuter!

For those of you who haven't heard, the boys are playing summer baseball. We thought it sounded like a good way to have a little fun over the next few months! Well, were we ever in for a shock! Long story short, Iain ended up coaching and there are three games per week! (Remember they are both playing so that makes 6 games per week!!) Yikes!!! We had no idea what kind of commitment this would be! Anyway, a coach, a team mom and a very busy schedule later...here we are!!

Now to the present...tonight was Sean's first game. They were the cutest little Dodgers that have ever played but oh' my goodness they were the Bad News Bears reincarnated! Our little guys, and one girl, who are mostly 4 years old were all over the place! They ran the wrong direction, kept running when they were tagged out, threw to the wrong bases and just could not keep still! Iain and I came home so exhausted that we had to just laugh! Who knew t-ball could be so tiring!! The kids were having a blast, which is what we are all there for!!

Iain T.'s first game is tomorrow night! He is so excited he can barely control himself! Wish us luck!!

From 4 to 2 in 5

Look at Seany go!!

This afternoon Iain and I were talking about taking Sean's training wheels off of his bike. He is more of a scooter and skateboard kid so he doesn't really ride that often. Which is probably why it hadn't dawned on us to take the wheels off!
After talking to Sean about it, we decided to give it a try! Our sidewalk out front has grass on both sides so it's perfect for learning! If you fall, you've got a green cushion to land on! The first time they went down the sidewalk, Iain held onto him for balance. The next time he went down, Iain let go and the rest is history! It truly didn't take more than 5 minutes! Guess he was more than ready!! He rode for another few minutes until the neighbors brought out water balloons, which are apparently way more fun than bike riding! As soon as I finish this post, we're back outside for more riding!

MIA

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. The memory card on the camera broke so I wasn't able to download anything. Luckily I had just put everything on the computer so there are only about 10 pictures that I can't access. We have a new card so we're back up and running. Here are some misc pictures of the kiddos from the past week.

Sara loves having baths in the sink. I do it every once in a while to change up the ole routine. See her little ponytail? I just realized that her hair is long enough! By the way, I did not wash her with the dish soap in the background!!

Someone likes bbq sauce! Can you guess who? Probably should've taken the white shirt off first though!I just love this picture...crooked hat, curled up toes...she's just yummy!

Seany at t-ball practice.

This picture cracks me up! He's running from second to third base. The tongue hanging out is the best part!!

Iain throwing the ball around at Sean's practice. You can tell by his body language that he's not playing seriously!

Doesn't he look so small? Okay, maybe not under all those blankets, but I think it's so sweet!
