Uncle Sam wears chonies

There are several perks to being married to a teacher...holidays off, summer vacation, early hours. A great perk that comes with Iain being a 1st grade teacher are the crafts he brings home. The boys look forward to each and every activity. They are always delighted to see what will come home next! Friday night when I was at work the boys were busy making Uncle Sam costumes. They colored, they cut and they twisted pipe cleaners until there fingers were raw (alright not quite but makes for a more dramatic feel doesn't it???) The finished product is well worth all their hard work!
